Helping Hands is a student-led social work group where we come together to contribute to society through meaningful activities like beach clean-ups, food donation drives, community service, and other social initiatives.
As a newly founded student collective, we believe you don't need a decades-long organization to start doing good. Every big movement begins with a small handful of passionate students taking the first step.
Built from the ground up by fellow students who want to channel their free time and energy toward impactful grassroots community service.
We focus on direct, on-ground activities—stepping out together on weekends to clean shorelines, feed those in need, and plant trees.
No prior volunteering experience needed. Whether you can give two hours a month or want to help organize events, every hand counts.
Here are the meaningful social initiatives our student group is actively organizing.
Gathering student squads to clear plastic waste, litter, and debris from local beaches to safeguard our coastal marine life.
Collecting food parcels, ration kits, and fresh meals to distribute to local shelters and people in need across our city.
Planting native trees in public spaces and college surroundings to encourage greener, healthier urban environments.
Organizing book donation drives, teaching sessions, and helping hands for community welfare projects.
As a student, this is a great opportunity to participate in social activities, develop teamwork and leadership skills, and make a positive impact. 🌍
Gain hands-on experience in planning drives, coordinating logistics, and leading volunteer teams.
Meet like-minded students from various colleges and build meaningful bonds through shared purpose.
Experience the genuine happiness of giving back and making someone's day brighter.
Receive volunteer certificates and letters of appreciation for your active social contributions.
